Well we arrived on Sunday and have been able to see Port Louis’s many markets. The hotel is fine will add some photos towards end of week but whilst pool advertised it is their winter and so they are renovating this so no pool. Oh well never mind. Time here 3 hours ahead.
To the conference this is the 18th International Conference on Learning and is at the University of Mauritius (picture of main gateway) which is about 20 minutes away from the hotel by coach (very old coach) no air conditioning or suspension. Day 1 started with the bus leaving the hotel at 7.30am good job I like early mornings. Most of first morning was taken up with various house keeping, welcomes and gifts to people who organised the conference.
